Description:
The National Sports Center is the worlds largest amateur sports and meeting facility. Located in Blaine, Minnesota. This 600 hundred acre spread property holds some of the record breaking fields, rinks, and stadiums in the world. Since it’s opening it has been host to over 22 million people. In the year of 2008, 3.7 million people visited the campus, which made it the most visited sports facility in Minnesota- even more than the Metrodome, the Target Center, or the Xcel Energy Center. On typical day there are around 12 different programs and activities that take place at the sports center and almost all of them service the local community. The National Sports center’s array of sport complexes is a great place to bring family and friends. The sports programs that are offered there are: soccer, hockey, golf, track cycling, track and field, figure skating, lacrosse, ultimate, broomball, football and rugby. And with these sports comes the many different facilities that accommodate these activities.
